It would be too much to ask for Thomas to resign (I don't want him having anything to do with another hire) and since Groce won't either the best we can hope for is major assistant coach changes. For all his other faults what seems to really help out Beckman is a level of sf awareness. Groce for whatever reason doesn't seem to have any.
Fine. Take next season and put out quiet feelers to the guy at Rhode Island or Marshall. Then when Groce misses the tourney a third year in a row we make the big move.
