* Illinois seems content with the linebacker corps and Mondesir. I think that's a mistake. This group is fairly athletic, but not physical enough. Will a year in the weight room help? Maybe. But they need guys who can shed blocks.
* Recruit a punter yesterday. You have 85 scholarships to give. Burn one on a guy who will be consistent punting the football. Last staff handcuffed them at the PK position by taking the kid from St. Thomas Aquinas.
* We've talked about quarterback a lot. There needs to be more of a sense of urgency. Not getting the right quarterback will derail the Lovie era before it gets started. The guys they have aren't good enough, and Cam Thomas will almost certainly redshirt.

The inside guys who are graduating - Bain and Clements - haven't gotten it done. Defensive tackle might be the most important position to recruit to in the Big Ten. Go get some guys ASAP.
