2023 combo-forward Amani Hansberry will take official visits to Illinois, Butler, and Boston College. Penn State and Virginia Tech also involved. If Illinois turns up the heat on Hansberry, I think they have a great shot.
One week from today, college coaches can begin contacting 2024 prospects directly, so we'll begin to get a good idea who the top kids are for Illinois in that class.
Kids they will call for sure are Liam McNeeley, James Brown, Nojus Indrusaitis for sure, but a lot more.
A lot of Illinois buzz about Jaylen Butz, but I don't know how real it. They definitely kicked the tires, but not sure if they're 100% bought in.
Still looking for backup 5 and casting a wider net. They want to get it done relatively quickly.
