The MLK Underclassman Showcase was held on Monday in Chicago-land.

East St. Louis brought a bunch of kids, and it's astounding how much talent they have. Besides the kids you've heard about before like QB Tyler Macon, WR Dominic Lovett, and WR Keontez Lewis, they have 2022 and 2023 kids who are going to be big time.

2022 CB Ahmad Robinson looks like a 4-star kid. Offers are going to start popping for him, and he'll be recruited by everyone just like Antonio Johnson.

Other future DI kids from ESTL include 2023 offensive linemen Parris Patterson and Myles McVay. (Patterson has better upside. Really good player). 2022 RB Deandre Lawrence. 2023 WR Ryan Boyd. 2022 Safety Dallas Brown. 2022 LB Jalen Byrd.

Macon didn't throw as well today as I've seen him throw. He's really good on he deep ball, but his accuracy on the intermediate routes was inconsistent.

Lovett and Bolingbrook linebacker Tyler McClaurin were the top 2021 kids there. Illinois has a good shot at Lovett, but McClaurin looks like a long shot. Nebraska could be a leader, and he's hunting offers from Notre Dame and others.

I'll have a full recap, top performers, etc. on Tuesday.
