I just watched the 2010 Texas Bowl on BTN. It was on as a classic Illini game. I’d forgotten how we totally dominated them. Final score was 38–14.
Nathan Scheelhaase played great and the one two punch of Leshore and Ford ran all over Baylor. Corey Liguet was in Baylor’s backfield a lot as we pretty much shut down Robert Griffen III.
Terry Hawthorne and Martez Wilson were on that team for the Illini. That may have been Zook’s finest hour as the HC.
All in all, an enjoyable game!
I hope we show up like that against Miss State.
