I can tell you the two best ways to get WR separation in college, and neither involves having future pros everywhere.
1. Have a mobile QB. Even Darrell Green couldn't cover for 5-6 seconds.
2. Run one of those passing spread schemes that loads up so many WRs it's really hard to cover everyone and have a QB that can make reads and throw accurately. Almost irrelevant to how good the QB's arm is.
