Why should Groce have a job next year?

Beckman was on the hot seat in Year 3 but at least his teams got better each year so far.

Groce is in Year 3 and we are getting worse each year. This year's team can't score or defend.

Recruiting is awful as we still have no point guard and no center after three years (plus summer 2012).

Three players expected to play key roles this season have been suspended so we're not even winning off the court.

What does Groce do well? Is there any program building happening?

Might as well hire a coach that can at least do enough with 3 and 4 star players to make the NCAAs more than 1/3 of the time.

Is there any reason to think next year will be dramatically better? Our stud sophomores didn't show up tonight with the season on the line.

Groce inherited a mess but Illinois basketball is no better off now than it was 3 years ago.
