While we are housebound, I’ve decided to educate my 6 year old son on Illini basketball history. This was first year he was really into basketball, and it really was a lot of fun for me to enjoy with him.... coincidentally, the first season I remember watching was 1984 when I was 6.
tonight we watched “A Season to Remember “
tomorrow is 100 years of Illini basketball
Arizona game will be up soon after.
have a Flying Illini season recap video on VHS that I will have to convert, as well as the Kenny Battle West Aurora Highlight film too.
Son was pretty upset tonight when he saw we lost to UNC—- then said if AYO comes back next year could be our year to win it all!.... dream big young one! Side note, Weber did a great job with that team, but man is he awkward.
