This strikes me as a leading indicator re how Groce gets handled. Realistically Bollant is 5x worse. His four years have been a complete disaster on the floor + he embarrassed the place with abusive assistant/hostile racial environment lawsuit/etc. This has to be easiest first decision that any AD has ever had.
I am marginally interested in women's bball but it would be nice if they were competitive. The last ten years' crapfest adds to the negative image of Illinois brand and morale.
