Maybe I'm naiive, but I did a quick perusal of the Illini Football Roster and quickly count (19) Juniors and (23) Seniors, at least at the start of the year. Numerically, those classes have to still be pretty well intact from when they were recruited.
So, when we start as many as (14) True Freshmen are we being told that those upperclassmen (42) can only contribute (8) starters? Are those classes really THAT bad as a group?
Did we see it when it was happening?
