I'll start this by saying that I know this kid may not be the type of QB we are looking for at Illinois right now as he is not a dual threat type. However, I wanted to share this because he is the son of my wife's best friend. They grew up together in Decatur attending Eisenhower HS together. This boy was born in Decatur and is the grandson of former HS coach Ted Phelps. Tyler is 6'2 210lbs and those numbers are no joke. This kid is big which you can tell from the video. And, his arm is flat out legit. Enjoy this video. For the record, he broke his collarbone last year so there wasn't a lot of film out on him prior to this year. Therefore his offers are light. He has one from Davidson right now, and I'm not sure who else is looking. I'm just trying to creat some more awareness for this young stud.
