Two more Illinois football game times were announced by the Big Ten Conference and Big Ten Network on Tuesday. The Fighting Illini's 2017 season-opener Sept. 2 vs. Ball State Sept. 2 is set for 11 a.m. CT, while the week two home matchup against Western Kentucky is schedule for a 7 p.m. CT kick. Both games will take place at Memorial Stadium and be televised by Big Ten Network.
The WKU game is the third primetime game on the 2017 Illini slate, and second home game scheduled under the lights at Memorial Stadium. The Illini will host Nebraska in primetime on Friday, Sept. 29 (7 pm CT on FS1) and also play a night game on the road at USF on Friday, Sept. 15 (6 pm CT on ESPN). The Fighting Illini are 14-10 all-time in night games at Memorial Stadium.
