Reportedly hires tOSU's Co-OC/QB coach Tim Beck as OC at Texas. To be clear, Beck didn't call plays for the Buckeyes the last couple years, but has been the focal point of most of the scrutiny directed towards their offense. Ed Warinner (former Illini OL coach) had called plays. Beck was Pelini's OC at Nebraska for four seasons and is regarded as an elite level recruiter, especially in Texas recently.
I fully expect Urban to bring in a new play caller for next season, early names IMO to remember:
