4th year taking my son to this game (counting when he was in the womb) sat third row, right behind Coach Small, who had a group with him. Son is 3-1.

Thought it was a pretty poorly played, coached and executed game, which turned out to be a good one, and one we were lucky to steal. Hill played great, obviously and was the difference.

We got off to a poor start, by settling for some really bad shots. Hill took two really bad ones early. We then went on a run, 13-14 straight points assisted by little Pitino who sat on his TOs and let it happen.

Finke and Morgan played well, but we were fortunate Murphy had to sit so early in first with fouls. Love Finke, but he needs to defend a little better.

Watching up close, really poorly officiated game, both ways. Lots of inconsistency and bad calls, followed by makeup calls. One ref called about six straight fouls with other two guys swallowing whistles. Called a lot on MN in first, then nothing in second.

JCL is rushing and forcing things just a bit. Speed of game not quite slowed down for him. He wants to be aggressive but needs to know when. Forced a few when he shouldn't and passed on a few good ones. Kid will be really good hope he tightens handle some.

We get nothing out of our PG spot at either end. Nothing. Putrid d at that spot almost cost us the game. Down the stretch, Tate lost Mason for a bunch of open looks. Can't leave him, can't play under screens, can't lose focus. Him and screener at fault. Need to show hard off screens. Should have been a TO after first one.... Let him have 3-4 more. Last possession of regulation, great move putting Nunn on Mason. He shut him down, forced a prayer. While it wasn't a greatly coached game, combination of that and playing zone when we had 9 team fouls with 4:00 to go to their 3 team fouls may have saved the game for us.

May not be a more talented player who does less in the league than Buggs. Just nothing between the ears. We think some of our guys have been frustrating.....Pitino is so in over his head it is crazy.
