Living in the heart of ACC country, close to the ACC head offices, I have to put up with this. Great, the ACC is 13-1. I am jealous, I admit. But never before has a conference had such an easy first week. Syracuse, a 10 seed, will be wearing white uniforms, for the second game in a row. A seven seed is the highest ranked team that the ACC has played - meaning not one team in the top 25.
And Ed Hardin has the balls to bring up Louisville as a positive for the conference record - if only they hadn't bought hookers for their recruits, they too could be winning games. Today's article is about the incredible Duke team overachieving the tournament. Really? 13 seed and 12 seed victories are overachieving? Win tonight and I will agree, but not until then.
This is what I have to read around here and why for one day a year I can cheer for Indiana, Maryland and Wisconsin. Hell, maybe even Kansas if they meet an ACC team. I hope the ACC goes 0-6 this round.
