We all know that we lack the talent right now, and maybe that is enough to explain the 3-9 record.
What bothers me is that we didn't play well this year; way too many mistakes throughout the season cost us big. That seems to be a reflection on the coaching. I really expected with this staff (compared to the previous one) that this stuff would get cleaned up. Instead, it was the same old Illini. Again, maybe this is just the players, I don't know.
I have not lost confidence in Lovie or the rest of the staff. But, I am also not feeling reassured.
