Wichita State lost again today this time to an Alabama team that has been getting housed by everyone to drop their record to 2-3 the same as our beloved Illini. Now I know Van Vleet is out, but we have some players out too. Just goes to show no one is above losing games with an injury depleted roster. However, it has me thinking, is he really that great or did he just get lucky with some underrated kids? If he is already losing to such powers as Tulsa, USC, and Alabama with just Van Vleet out, what is he going to do next year with Baker also gone? He has ridden the Baker and Van Vleet class to a lot of wins, but it doesn't look like he has done a very good job restocking the roster. It may be the right time to jump ship after those guys are gone.
