July 24-25. Big Ten Media Days. Big Ten Media Days is July 24-25 in Chicago. Orange and Blue News will have three reporters covering the event. The press conferences will be televised on BTN.
July 30. Illinois football media day. There's a fan appreciate day immediately following at 5:15. Fans in attendance can meet and gather player autographs until 6 pm. A free movie event will be shown on the Memorial Stadium video board after the autograph session.
July 31. Camp opens. The Fighting Illini football team will open its 2017 preseason training camp on July 31. All of training camp, which runs until Aug. 26, will take place on the University of Illinois campus, be open to the public, and free to attend.Most practices will be held on the Campus Recreation Fields bordered by Florida Ave. and Goodwin Ave. in Urbana (MAP), just blocks from Memorial Stadium. Free parking will be available in campus lot F23 just south of the Florida Avenue Residence (FAR) Hall (entrance off of Florida Ave.).
