Tired of talking about other programs and their players and the past. I started thinking about Illinois's game tonight.
It's a hard one to project a win for. Seems to me Illinois success centers around being able to string together two good halves with consistent defense in both--which is both a tall order and probably just keeps the game close. It will be interesting to see how they respond to a road game/hostile environment.
Outside of obvious platitude-like things along the line of scoring more points, playing defense, shooting a good percentage, taking care of the ball, what's it going to take to keep this one from being a waxing?
I don't have much. I do think we need to make our FTs and not let their PG (who I understand is good) run completely wild on us. But we don't have a real good on-ball defender for that. Most of you guys know more than me, what am I missing?
