With everyone on this board saying they aren't going to home games any more or not even watching the games on TV, I feel like I will be the only Illini fan in attendance in Evanston on Saturday.
I started going to both football and men's basketball games when the Illini play at NW when I moved to Chicago about 20 years ago and have attended almost every game there. Even when I moved to Champaign 7 years ago, I still go up there without fail for both FB and BB.
I don't know why I am a glutton for punishment.
The only consolation prize is that I get to eat at Mustard's Last Stand, however, I think I will go to Poochie's in Skokie this year. Burgers are slightly better at Mustard's but I like the fries much better at Poochie's.
