Was just thinking about this with Neb announcing Frost and trying to envision a scenario where the Illinois isn't the worst program anymore in the B1G West. Some big upgrades in the past year for the B1G West.

1. Wisky/Chryst - Machine 20 years in the making that shows no signs of breaking down.

2. Neb/Frost - Frost has the 'it' factor and combined with new AD and their resources - I think Neb gets back to relevance quickly.

3. Iowa / Ferentz - Really close between Iowa and NU... Iowa's ceiling is a little higher because of fan interest.

4. NU / Fitzee - Pains me to see one of our own as their AD leading a renaissance - has a good machine going - unbelievable new facilities on lake.

5. Purdue / Brohm - Purdue seems to have gotten more serious about football with its new facility and the Brohm hire. He may be the top tactician in the group. Only problem is that he will end up Louisville in all likelihood when Petrino hangs it up.

6. Minn/Fleck - Shine came off Fleck a bit after a rough first year but he is recruiting well and also started terribly at WMU before getting things rolling.

7. ILL / Lovie - Many years way from being relevant and facilities lagging behind with no improvements until 2019.
