Am sitting here bored so something else to argue/debate. My list:
1) Izzo - undisputed
2) Painter - this year was abnormal, usually competes for Top 5 in conference
3) Turgeon - just wins every year
4) Gard - same as Turgeon but maybe starting to trend down after next year's senior class leaves?
5) Holtmann - recruits well and gets good results
6) Underwood - starting to see him replicate success he had at SFA, trending up
7) McCaffery - wins in regular season
8) Pikiell - rebuilding RU isn't easy
9) Hoiberg - based on his success at ISU, will have NE competitive in a few years
10) Chambers - tough rebuild in Happy Valley, what happens next?
11) Miller - IU being patient
12) Collins - broke the streak, lost some players, jury still out whether he can win consistently on the North Shore
13) Pitino - exactly what has he accomplished?
14) Howard - unproven.
Only guy who I would take over Underwood at this point is Izzo. I think BU is or will be on an equal basis with Painter and Holtmann in a year or two.
