So what are some tangible things coaches do to mentor these young people who come to play athletics and work for an education?

Does anyone know what are staff does and who is responsible for what tasks?

I have heard of things like individual skill set workouts
strength and conditioning

Are there sessions on behaviors in society?
Are their social media meetings?
If someone has a tendency towards making poor decisions or has outburst of anger is the individual mentoring sessions?
Is there extra accountability measures for kids who might have a tendency towards drugs or alcohol?
Does everyone live together?
Is there a mentor or staff member living with them?

Sad to even ask some of these question but it is reality.

Just curious. I remember kids who did cocaine on a pretty regular basis and hit 400. I don't know how they did it but if they were not in the paper nobody cared. I had to work my arse off although I grew it back. I know some programs have all the kids live together etc... Some even have their own chief. That's why I am for bringing the chief back by the way. If KY has a chief we should sure have one!

Anyone have good knowledge of how we function and maybe things other schools do that we should be doing?

Thanks
