Logistically, how difficult would it be for Whitman to replace Groce with a strong candidate this year? I assume that hiring a high-level coach like Lovie & fixing the football program took a lot with regard to connections, resources, & capital. Is this a zero-sum game with these factors not being available for basketball this year? Is it too much for a new AD to fix two sports at the same time & better to move sequentially? Overall, long term for the future of Illinois basketball, would it better to ride out Groce another year & saving that hiring capital for next year? It seems like that may have been JW overall strategy; are the current events in your guys opinion going to change that?
