Notes
* As I've mentioned, I don't think the RB position is settled. Mike Epstein is listed 3rd, but he could get his share of carries. Chase Hayden is still in the mix.
* Ford and Barker are interchangeable at tight end and both will play a lot. I think Ford will be a star this year. Rosenthal will come in as an H-back.
* The backup center is actually Blake Jeresaty. I just didn't want to list him twice.
* Jack Badovinac can backup up guys at guard or tackle. I don't think they would want true freshmen in there.
* I didn't list return guys because we just don't know who it will be. My educated guess is Donny Navarro and Chase Brown, but we'll have wait for kickoff.
* If there's one guy on defense who I think could move up the depth chart it's the new transfer Alec Bryant, but his waiver hasn't come through yet and he's still learning the scheme.
* Did I mention that Calvin Avery has had a really good camp? He'll play a lot. Not much depth on the DL, but I think Rod Perry could slide over to the DT spot if anyone gets hurt.
* The inside linebackers are interchangeable so I wouldn't get hung up on the depth chart too much.
* Still a position battle going on between Quan Martin and Eddie Smith.
* Tahveon Nicholson will play a lot at CB. After that, it's slim pickins. Kendall Smith is shaky at corner, IMO. But he does have size and can tackle.
* You'd like to have interchangeable parts in the secondary in case of injuries, but it's tough when four freshmen are in the 3-deep.
* Kionte Curry has the skills to play CB, S, or nickel but that's a lot for a freshmen to learn.
* They probably should have added a CB from the portal.
