Reported by-recruiting analyst Kendrick Prince, Illinois is in great shape with both assistant coaches. If you go to Illini HQ you can hear the entire podcast with Lauren Tate. Prince goes on to say that Illinois is in great shape with Mitchel and a transfer out of UNLV. And a highly ranked big in the 2022 Class who is down to Kansas and Illinois, with the illini leading. He also felt Kofi will be back if Antigua returns.
Prince was asked about all of our 2021/2022 High recruits and where they stood if Antigua or Chin left. His comment, was that he had spoken to all the parents and recruits and that they are all committed to the University of Illinois and not leaving with a coaching change.
The final nugget, was Lauren Tate asking him directly about EJ Liddell. His response was he can’t really talk about it but there has been chatter between EJ and his father and Illinois is a perfect fit for several reasons. EJ wants to play with a true Post Player and his parents Would like him close to home.
