Play Off Impact on CFB?

It used to be more entertaining with no play offs, the players actually played in the bowl games and each bowl fame had some cache'.,

I know this sounds like heresy : play offs make this too much like pro ball, players sitting out to be pro players is wrong (selfish and shows "student athlete" is a joke.

Just rename it the NFL development league, take away all pretenses of education, and let the players unionize.

I have watched the least amount of bowl games this year.
