Whether we thought he could pull off a Lovie type hire.....(he did), or replace a stud on the rise volleyball head coach with a guy with no previous HC experience (he did). If we doubt he will repeal and replace the Groce administration, you should not....he will (I love the person, no longer love the coach).
Years ago it was in DWill, or in Dee we trust. Now it obviously must be "in JW we trust."

Everyone loves the easy answers...not difficult to research those. I like them too. But, let us put on our our "out of the box hire" thinking caps.....you know JW isn't lazy enough to have a final four of Counzo, Bennett, Williams, or Marshall.
I will boldly start this discussion.......based on scenario #4 in the great article....absolutely outside the box!.....one of the very best recruiters in the country...
I introduce you to Joe Pasternack....former Bobby Knight understudy...coach under Ben Braun at Cal...former HC at UNO....as he was fixing a train wreck....admin pulled them from D1....now the Associate HC at Zona.....great coach. Great recruiter!
