Last week, three Oregon players were hospitalized with rhabdomyolysis, which results from extreme exercise where the kidneys begin to shut down. This happened as a result of Oregon players going through a morning workout that consisted of an hour of push-ups and up downs. This was led by Oregon's new strength coach Irele Oderinde. As a result, Oderinde now reports directly to Oregon's AD and does not report to new head coach Willie Taggart who brought him on board bringing him from South Florida.

Last night, new Co-OC/TE coach David Reaves was arrested and charged with DUI and the process to "terminate" Reaves has begun.

This is about as disastrous of a start to a coaching staff change that you could possibly have. I think Taggart is a good coach, but he has not done himself any favors less than a month into his tenure. He'll be fighting an uphill battle from here.
