I am surprised about this hire. I didn't follow his time at Florida closely, but I was under the impression that he was in over his head. Supposedly, the job was offered to Rich Rod and he turned it down and then it was offered to Muscamp.
I would love to know why Rutgers chose Ash over Golden. Based on what I've read, I would think that Golden would have been the answer at Rutgers.
