10 years after it came out, I finally read this book - anyone here read it? Very interesting look at the world of recruiting through the lens of Ed Orgeron and his staff at Ole Miss in the 05-07 time frame.. even more intresting as of late given that Hugh Freeze was on his staff and is featured prominently in the book.
Very good read, especially given a few ILLINI shout outs about Ron Zook (specifically.. Coach O being all over DeAngelo McCray including calling him on the eve of signing day, only to lose out to us).
I'm sure the recruiting game is much different in 17' than in 07' but still makes me so curious to see how our staff measures up to Coach O and his "4 red bulls per road trip" style.
