I was encouraged by the team's performance this weekend at Tulane.

Pitching held up pretty well. Almost pull off the win on Friday.

1-2 on the road, ranked opponent doesn't really hurt your RPI. Doesn't give it the boost a series win would but still not bad.
Obviously not last year's team but still could just as easily have been 2-1 rather than 1-2 against a ranked opponent. They had come back and won Friday's game but one pitch got away from them on the three run home run.
Hopefully they have another excellent year.
