Anyhow, since 1988,when 3 point shot implemented, 15% of shots were 3 pointers, and 40% were made.
% made plateau in 1996 at 35%, and has remained constant since.
% of shots as 3 pt'ers? Continues to rise and now over 35% of shots taken.

PS- just read the article. Very good read. Jay Wright pathway to 3-heavy offense and coaching strategy (limit opponent's 3 pt volume and increasing Villanova's) and Kruger's philosophy,etc.
Don't want to seg into a coaching thread, but I'd love to be an integral part of our program and see how we're coached and what our strategies are.
