I may have an opportunity with a major insurance company in Bloomington, IL (assuming the stay at home order is ever lifted). I spent many years in Champaign in the 90s as a young adult but I know next to nothing about Bloomington. What's the skinny on Bloomington-Normal? Are certain school districts better than others? What areas are good for families with school age kids. Will my wife, who is used to living in the Northern Burbs of Chicago, go nuts in Bloomington-Normal? Any thoughts or advice about the area would be greatly appreciated.
