Illini baseball showing a lot of offense these days.
That was the one question mark this year.
Starting pitching was good.
Closer is excelent.
Middle releif is still a bit of a question except for a couple of guys.

But my real question is if Spencer Allen, the new coach who replaced coach Snider, is he the hitting coach?
Does he have anything to do with the hitting and especially home run output of this team.
I know they had deadened the bats a few years ago and they are a bit more lively now, but either some guys just matured or are having big seasons or someone is having an impact on hitting.

Brad, I believe you are connected to baseball through coach Hartleb, do you know the particulars on this subject.

Thanks !!!
