Good documentary on Showtime about Iverson. Many just dismiss him as a thug. He was an all-time top 25 guy. Very misunderstood. Right down to that "practice" soundbite that was taken completely out of context by 99% of the media.
LoVett's game reminds me of Iverson somewhat. NO I DID NOT SAY HE IS IVERSON.
This doc still painted him as a human being though -- which many act like he was some kind of animal. He was a dude with flaws (many), but not quite as bad as some made out. You can't just take TV news as gospel and run with it. That's for suckers.
Anyway, one of the things I didn't like was when he said, "when you think about Philadelphia basketball, you think about Allen Iverson." Umm, no. Some think about Barkley, and many, like myself, still think about Dr. J (my all-time favorite player - Magic is 2nd).
