OT: ACC and SEC expansions Q

Does somebody have the story on the decision for SEC to settle on TAMU and Mizzou in the last expansion?

Prior to the announcement that Mizzou was joining, were ACC members (the 2010 or 2011 members, that is) mentioned in speculation about SEC expansion?

Nebraska and Mizzou may have played their last season of B12 football in the same season, in 2010?
