I have to say that Rod Smith has produced quite a bit with what he has to work with. That RichRod system has always produced offense, and it has here. If our five star QB recruit can throw at all, it will go to another level, too. Obviously more talent across the board would help a ton also, especially speed at tailback and wide receiver. He dialed up a couple TD calls Saturday that the kids botched - the whiff blocked screen pass comes to mind as does the slant that Smalling dropped/somebody threw behind him. Wisconsin did not have defenders in position to stop those plays.
On the good news front - Rod Smith has been pretty impressive
