This week will be big for 2017 big man Joey St. Pierre. A 6-foot-10, 240 pounder from Illinois, he's tough to move around in the post and doesn't mind dishing out some physicality. He's not yet earned his first scholarship offer but programs like Nebraska, Michigan, Iowa, Wisconsin, Loyola Chicago, Illinois State, Virginia Tech and Tulsa are among those expected to follow him this summer.

A teammate of St. Pierre on the Illinois Wolves 16U team, 6-foot-6 small forward Charles Payton was active on the morning session. The rising junior is a slender wing who has a nose for chasing down loose balls on both ends of the floor and his mid range jumper looked good. He lists offers from Nebraska, UIC and Southern Illinois. He's been by both Illinois and Indiana for recent unofficial visits and is expecting that Georgetown, Xavier, New Mexico and Bradley will watch this month.
