Illini outperformed in every stat but the score. Dudek bails the boys out of an embarrassing game #1 and things are digestible at best, but in all honesty this was a loss. There's no OL (gonna need one of those), the freshman are our star performers (sans Dudek & Turner), and the QB makes Jon Lesters throws to first look pinpoint. Biggest take away was Beckman and Cubit either A. couldn't evaluate talent or B. got what they could realizing they were getting mid-MAC players. Going forward I've got to believe most fans feel the same way they did after watching The Shining and are going to be quick to pulling the plug on watching this disaster. Sure hoped for more .......
