Newton, Randolph, Williams to Attend Big Ten Media Days

CHAMPAIGN, Ill. — Jer'Zhan Newton, Keith Randolph Jr., Isaiah Williams, and head coach Bret Bielema will represent the Illinois football team and the University of Illinois at Big Ten Media Days in Indianapolis, the Big Ten Conference announced Wednesday. The Big Ten teams will be split over two days, July 26-27, with Illinois scheduled for July 26.

Jer'Zhan Newton
Newton, a Bednarik Award semifinalist last year as one of the top defenders in college football, is the No. 1 returning defensive tackle in the nation, according to PFF, and a preseason All-American according to Athlon (first team) and Phil Steele (second team)

Isaiah Williams
One of the most dynamic players in the Big Ten, Williams was ranked the No. 22 player in the Big Ten in 247's preseason player rankings.
