I was watching the end of the game and Frost made a decision that I just did not understand. Nebraska had the ball around midfield with a little more than 2 minutes left and NW had one timeout. It was 3rd down with 6 yards to go. Instead of passing for the first down, Nebraska ran the ball for two yards (just a give up play) to force NW to call the final time out. If you are a winless Nebraska team, why don't you try to pass for the first down? At that point a first down wins the game and even if you have an incompletion, NW gets the ball with over 2 minutes to go with 1 timeout instead of none. IMO, the risk/reward analysis dictates that you should be aggressive especially when you are winless. In addition, time outs are less valuable in the college game when the clock stops with a first down. Just did not get the thought process.
