Former Illinois Football Chaplain Monsignor Greg Ketchcam died this morning following a long battle with brain cancer. Those who have followed the Illini may remember Monsignor. He left Champaign around 2013-2014. One of my biggest surprises when Mason joined the Illini was the fact that the team had 2 chaplains that traveled with the team everywhere they went. they had Catholic mass on the road and a general Chapel service for the fellas. One of the many reasons our Ohio family is proud to call ourselves Illini! Our prayers to his family.
