A lot of people have talked about Jeff Monken, but I'm hoping for his cousin, Todd Monken. Has local ties, an offense that has been successful at every level, and he recently turned around Southern Miss in a short amount of time.

For offensive coordinator, bring on Derek Leonard. He's already a legend in the state of Illinois at a young age. He and Monken are familiar with each other from the Wes Lunt recruitment, and Monken would be a great mentor for Derek at the college level. I think local kids would want to play for a Monken/Leonard led offense. Derek already has 7 state championships. He recently lost his mother, and I'm not sure how that impacts his long term thoughts. He's proven it all at the HS level, I'm hoping he's ready for the next step.

The third guy that I would like to come to Illinois is an old friend, Kenni Burns. Some probably think I am a Minnesota fan, because I don't hate them like most on this board. The truth is, I just root for Kenni to show well up there. He has coached TEs, WRs, and RBs, and maybe most importantly, he's been a recruiting coordinator. He's young and energetic, and kids absolutely love playing for him. He recruits well in the midwest and southeast. These 3 coaches combined would change the attitude of Illinois HS coaches towards the University of Illinois. I strongly believe that.
