Bellamy .... with Golesh, he is considered our best recruiter. UI guy.
He also had injuries to contend with Dudek and Hardee.

That being said .... the amount of dropped passes was incredible this year. I do not know the final number, but it has to be a record. We still had Allison, Turner etc. But there is no reason, none, that any B10 team should have as many dropped passes as this team did.

I'm no expert on receiving skills, but it seems to me that one of the simpler concepts is to catch the ball before starting to run with it (or do anything else). Somehow, we seemed to get worse as the season went on.

At what point does someone hold the receiver coach accountable? Do we simply attribute it to the loss of Dudek and Hardee? I realize that Diotne Taylor and Marchie Murdock were not 5 star recruits. But what use are receivers who cannot catch?

I think this team needs recruiters, but not to the point where the coaching appears detrimental to the team. This team was actually worse at the end of the year catching balls than at the beginning of the year.

As for the front 7 on defense ... am I the only one that sees a disaster coming up in 2017? Who is going to replace Smoot, Clements, Neal and the athleticism of Roberts?. For that matter, who is going to replace Monheim and Ward next year? Paul James was a candidate. Teko Powell? McGrew? I have no clue who will be playing linebacker. And our quickest linebacker is likely gone for good.

Who do we foresee replacing these people, and do we believe they will be equal, or close to equal with what we have? Maybe Doug knows something I'm missing here.
