Without Black and Thorne, we do not have the fire power to win more than a handful of games. We would need lock down defense to win more than that. Of course our defense stinks.
Do the math. If Hill, Nunn and Finke all have very good games they total 40 -45 points. Where do the other 30 -35 points come from? Coleman-Lands if good throws in 12 . How do we get the additional 20-25 points needed to win? We cannot generate enough offense , without Black and Thorne, to win.
That doesn't mean we won't go off and beat any team, but we will most likely also lose to any team.
Should use the year as practice and development for the freshmen. Too bad Nunn and Hill will have a wasted Junior year.
