I am a huge B1G fan, since 1974. Before, I watched the games on TV, so for B1G, it was Nebraska and Penn State before they joined, and the defunct Big Two, that Iowa in 1981 and Illinois in 1984 took out.
I liked Lovie Smith. The Illini have always been an Iowa rival, but since his days in the NFL, as a Packers fan, I liked Lovie as a person.
