NCAA Slam Dunk and 3 point shootout. Kendall made the top 3 in the 1990 3 point contest and he also won the slam dunk title. Who did he beat for a little payback from the 89 Final 4? Rameel Robinson.
Kendall copyed MJ which is pretty cool with a rocking the cradle dunk and a dunk from just inside the free throw line. They also had a current interview with Kendall about the contest. You have to love Kendall's love for the Illini and also Dickie V's Flying Illini love as he was the dunk contest announcer. It was a nice segment especially as we meander thru this sports desert.
