Was at a Memphis Touchdown Club dinner yesterday. The radio voice of the U of Memphis Tigers (10-3 in 2014) was the speaker and the subject got around to Head Coach Justin Fuentes' future. He's a good one.
The speaker said it was likely down the road Fuentes would consider another job and might look now if the right job opened up. Said he would probably quickly take Nebraska or OK State or a school like that (he's from OK apparently). Then he said, "Last year the only two jobs that 'came up' were Kansas and Illinois. He had no interest in either of them".
Btw, apparently Fuentes' in-laws live in or somewhere around Chambana.
