Slaughter gets an initial 3-star (5.6) ranking from Rivals. Definitely agree with that, and he has a chance to improve that ranking with a big senior season. Very similar to Verderian Lowe the way Slaughter changed his body since last season and has shown more of a mean streak at camps this spring.
Jakari Norwood gets a 2-star ranking, but I'm told he has really worked hard in the off season and has added muscle. Wouldn't be surprised if more Power 5 schools come in with offers this summer. Norwood has a second gear. His initial acceleration is just okay, but once he gets in the open field he can turn on the burners.
